Happy 35th anniversary of Good Omens!

A bit rushed, I didn't think up an idea for this until two days ago, but there we are. I just love the idea of these two finding out that a book has been written and that they both went to pick up a copy...

"Fancy seeing you here," Crowley would murmur over a cream clad shoulder that might startle a little. A small sigh...

"I must admit, I am rather curious," Aziraphale would say back, voice light with barely contained excitement, "do you think they included the opening of my shop?"

The demon barks a laugh.

"Pride suits you, Angel"

"No, I mean..." a shy shrug as they both take the book. Crowley tips his chin downwards and watches Aziraphale's fingers appraise the freshly printed pages with practice only an expert bibliophile knows how, "the opening of it," he continues, eyes finding his and sweeping down his face. The action always makes Crowley forget he has a spine, "when you brought those flowers, and chocolates, and..."

Protesting the infamous Section 28 through Manchester. Led by Actors Ian McKellen, Michael Cashman, and gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell.

I wanted to put Aziraphale and Crowley in my Pride series. But I didn't want them to be the centre of focus. The focus needs to be on the lgbtqia+ community's history and our rights. So that's why they're in the crowd (have a go at spotting them).
