when i say i appreciate a scientist, or a researcher, or perhaps anyone who is popular for their discoveries and stuff, i often mean that i appreciate their intellect. the way their brain works, what they do and how they do it. i may often not know about their personalities, their family or personal life. and i am fine with it. i am happy in learning what they gave to the world, and that is all i need.
