"Ah... an intruder amidst the flowers."
Careful Jax, you don't want to lose your.... HEAD.🦷
Art by me!
Made with Shuttleart Acrylic Markers, edited in IbisPaintX!🎨
Whumpee who’s slowly but steadily losing blood. The wound won’t clot/can’t be stitched yet but there’s pressure on it/is as simple as just a really really bad nosebleed/etc. As the blood leaves them, so does their pain and awareness of their circumstances, and they forget that this is a serious situation. As they grow lightheaded, they also become slightly/moderately delirious, and start to find everything funny and/or confusing. They forget why everyone around them is being super solemn and start cracking jokes (that only make sense to their own slap-happy self) to lighten the mood. No matter how many punchlines fail to land, they keep trying until the loopiness passes, and then dread sets in.
finishing the twilight saga and once again getting hit with the “i’m not a vampire and never will be” sadness
Premonition, watercolor (background), colored pencils (creatures), collage.
One of my latest works. I was inspired by…primarily the news of recent years and the depressed and anxious mood of humankind, which is acutely felt and visible. And of which I am a part.
The black creature embodies the harbinger of some impending doom. As if we've awakened some cruel ancient god. It hasn't crawled out yet, but it's awake. And everyone feels it. The larvae simply symbolize the accompanying emotions.
I hope it never crawls out.
waiting for robby and langdon to talk gives me the feeling of impending doom
