[[Can I think both and more?]]
(( yes you can. but also
think about it.
Think about tiny Mink when his grandfather was alive and was still chief. Think about him taking time aside from his duties to spend time with his grandson. Think about them going fishing together, sitting near a tree and just bonding.
"You know, one day you'll be a great leader," his grandfather would say.
Mink would believe it with all his heart.
When his grandfather passed, he would be devastated. He would feel as though he'd lost his best friend. His father would take over as chief, and would continue raising Mink in a way that would prepare him to take his place as leader of the tribe.
"One day, son, you'll be a great leader."
Mink believed him.
When he lost his entire clan, he would feel something he'd never felt before. An unspeakable grief. But he would mask anything he felt. He would go on with the mindset that he would get vengeance on the one responsible for this tragedy befalling upon him, and then die, and go be with his loved ones again.
He would, in fact, be a great leader. He helped many and gave a place to belong to those who had nowhere and nothing. A gang of criminals. But they respected him. He kept them out of harm's way. He planned strategically so as to make sure none of them would be harmed, and he himself would be the one to stop the monster, the Toue plague that threatened to spread across Midorijima.
