So I put the names in the yandere meter and what I got was 68% for Tannim while Rune's was 95%. That's...about right. I've thought of yandere things before.

Tannim is probably the safe bet. He's not going to try and hurt you. No, he loves you. It's just that there are things out there that want to harm you and prefers you stay away from them. He'd probably go yan because he believes he's legitimately helping you out. Worst he'd do is probably lock you up, like I said, he's not gonna hurt you. 

Rune...is not that nice. He's not Yuno Gasai bad, but he's fucking possessive. And might give you the chance to make things easy. One. Chance. Next time, he's breaking something. It's because you're his and doesn't want you to get the idea that you can just run away from that fact.

Can We Keep It?

For some reason lately, I've been thinking of an AU where Tannim and Rune became avatars to beings. These beings are sorta like representations of concepts. I guess like how there were the Greek gods reside over various things like how Hades is the god of death. They're more or less the agents of their being.

Tannim would most likely be the proxy of mercy. To grace those suffering with an end. While he tries for it to be peaceful, the forces surrounding the person do not always make it possible. However he tries to create a lull to that makes the harshness given become more bearable.

Rune would be the emissary of retribution. Usually around during acts of revenge and can help it go in favor of the person getting revenge. However, he is a judge that no deed cannot go without what is 'deserved'. For vendettas, it usually equates to death.

Honestly, they both sound like gods of death. The mericful that takes pity on those that die and the merciless that believes what happens is 'only fair'. Actually, that sounds kinda fun now.

Ethnicity Headcanons

It's not really needed in the main verse since they're Lorithians and don't really see much difference in appearances between the areas except Sandsea, Atrea, and Mortem. But it's more for if I did a modern AU or something. 

Tannim is half-English and half-Japanese. His mother actually has ties to some other country's royalty and while he's considered a bastard, he could have rights to the throne if he knew about it. He speaks with an accent although it's closer to more rural areas of the UK. His dad is where he gets his Japanese from although he doesn't know much about it.

Rune considers herself a mutt. She has almost everything blended in although what stand out the most are her Afro-Latina blood. More than likely she's American and from Hawaii or the West coast. When she gets frustrated or angry, she might start speaking Spanish, making it even harder to figure out what she's saying. want to add polynesian but not sure how to go about that.

Darkness

Rune fears the Darkness more than anything. No matter if they broke the world of darkness, it still haunts him. He is afraid that this is all an illusion of the dark and that at any moment he’ll wake up still a prisoner. It is the one thing that make him freeze and unable to think. It was the only thing that has broken him and Rune is so afraid of it having the ability to do it again.

Tannim doesn’t like being trapped in the dark. He was stuffed into chests or cramped places when he was small. While it was never as intense as his fear of fire, it does leave him uncomfortable to be left in the dark for too long. However, due to him honing his above human eyes, it’s hard for it ever be dark to him.

Random Dislikes

Tannim really hates things being forced down like shoving food down his throat. It makes him feel sick and feel nauseous even after the fact. Even if he's sick and you're being an awesome friend by feeding him, don't do it. He's more likely to start gagging and choking than actually swallow it.

If you value your limbs, don't try to caress Rune's face or do an 'affectionate' gesture that you might do a dog or someone you're going to bang. This is probably the fastest way to piss him off. And for someone that hates closed quarter fighting, Rune will punch you in the face for it.

Sounds really strange but Rune can melt under compliments. He’s never really been complimented so it makes him somewhat embarrassed about getting them. He doesn’t believe you but if you’re insistent/sincere, you will probably be see him trying so hard not show the melting. 

Tannim loves affection. Although he’s not shy about touch in relation to battle, greeting, or fleeing, he’s not accustomed to affectionate gestures. It surprises him enough that he might jump. But he really likes the physical contact and is guaranteed to melt under it. If not wanting to start with snuggling, start with ruffling his hair. He likes it, I swear.

✯ - make my muse cry

There’s not much one can actually do to actually make them cry. It’s a more of you can do things that trigger tear-worthy moments. Killing someone important is surefire (but isn’t that everyone?). But I guess, for Tannim, you can go off on him. Like really go off and scream at him and possibly toss some cruel words like ‘worthless’ or ‘useless’. He will cry and repeat sorry until you either leave or he loses his voice. For Rune, it’s tossing jeers at his accomplishments or what is supposed to be his happiness. Saying things like he could never become a good parent. Yeah, he’d sock you in fucking face but he might also tear at it because…in a sense, he thinks it’s true.

❦ - instantly turn my muse on

Tannim is not aware but he is definitely turned on when he gets into mock fights. Not like sparring but play fights were the seriousness is gone and it’s more of playing around more than anything. He also is turned on by people show off their physique. Showing off muscle or strength, basically. Not instantly but he is turned on by a person in battle. It’s probably the most ‘beautiful’ he sees a person.

Rune is turned on by competition. No, not like let’s just have a race but where you’re teasing and he teases back. He’s not afraid of showing off for the sake of doing so and when it comes to things like kisses or intimacy it can easily become more if you’re making it a fight such as who is controlling the kiss. That and ‘intellectual’ talk. From poetry to foreign language to fucking reciting pick up lines based off advanced subjects.
