SEND ME A SYMBOL FOR : ▲ five time my muse thought about kissing yours, and the one time they did.
1. It wasn’t the first time she’d fallen asleep next to Noah, normally he didn’t like people being so close to him but for some reason he’d let her nap next to him. Spencer laid on her back, glancing up at the ceiling, she’d lost track of time– it’d probably been about half an hour or so, Noah’s soft breathing letting her know he was fast asleep. With a soft sigh, she turned on her side to face him, tucking her hands under her head as she glanced at him, gaze trailed along his features from his eyes to his parted lips.
Maybe she’d had a few thought about what it might be like to kiss him, maybe. Maybe one of those thoughts popped into her head as her gaze fixated on his lips. What would it be like if she were to just lean in and ever so softly just press a kiss to his lips? Would he wake up and kiss her back or would he flip out? Spencer quickly dismissed the thought, shutting her eyes tightly, forcing herself to think of something else.
2. She should’ve been studying that’s the whole reason why she’d agreed to meeting up with him at the library; to study. Not one single word had stuck with her since she had opened her notebook to look over her notes, instead she’d been to absorbed in her thoughts once again. She might’ve also focused on the way he read to himself, how his lips moved to the words. And just maybe a thought of kissing him might’ve popped into her head– how she could oh so casually lean across the table and kiss him or maybe drag him with her towards one of the aisles and push him against one of the shelves before kissing him.
his words snapping her out of her thoughts. ❝mhm, peachy.❞
3. Her tongue poked out as she sat at the tracing table, working out the stencil for one of her appointments. It had actually taken her far less time than she thought it would to and it was also turning out a lot better. ❝is that a chicken?❞ Noah’s voice startled her, making her jump in her seat. ❝christ, no-❞ she began to speak, turning her head to glance at him only to go wide eyed at how close he stood to her, his face only inches away. Spencer swallowed hard as her eyes landed on his mouth. Fuck not again– she cursed to herself as she quickly glanced back at her stencil, feeling her cheeks warm up.
❝piss off, it’s a phoenix. go wait over by my station, ❞
4. ❝Noah, give me the wiimote.❞ Spencer glared at him, extending her hand out for the wiimote. Kade had given her permission to use his Iron Man wiimote but Noah wasn’t going to have any of it, holding it over his head while he smirked down at her. ❝You gotta reach for it.❞
She tried to figure out how she could push him down onto the couch and snatch the wiimote from him. She also probably shouldn’t have focused on how his lips were curved up into a smirk and how if she managed to take him down, she could easily climb onto his lap and kiss him. This was no time to think about kissing him. ❝I’m two seconds away from taking your tall ass down, give it.❞
5. When she said she’d help him cook, she didn’t exactly expect to be sitting and watching him do all of the cooking. With pursed lips, Spencer rested her chin in the palm of her hand as she watched Noah whip up the alfredo sauce. So maybe she wanted to taste the food more than she wanted to help actually make it but Noah had dismissed her and sent her to sit at one of the stools while he finished up.
❝Is it ready yet?❞ She let out a pitiful whine as she stretched out, watching as he tasted the sauce, watching his reaction followed by his tongue poking out and trailing along his bottom lip to chase after any sauce. ❝Almost ready.❞ She needed to get away before she climbed over the counter, quickly hopping off the stool and padding out of the kitchen, ❝Where’s Kade? I gotta ask him something. Cabrón, where are you!❞
6. She didn’t even know why they started arguing or what they were even arguing about anymore. Her lips pursed as she rolled her eyes at him, ❝Just forget it, I’m out of here.❞ Spencer turned on her heels and began to walk away only to feel Noah grip at her wrist and spin her around towards him. Before she could react or say something, she felt his lips crash onto hers, her eyes widening in surprise. It only took her a moment or two before she reacted, her free hand moving up to hook onto his neck, tugging him down closer to her as she kissed him back, moving her lips against his.
Maybe it had been a good thing they had argued but whatever it was about it had definitely been worth it.
