Warnings: Implied Character Death, Blood That Isn't Red

He quietly invites himself into the silent room, boots having been discarded earlier at the front door. The admin walks uncharacteristically light over to the bed in the middle of the room, there lying the usually narcissistic god, a gentle cotton blanket draping over part of his form. He gently nudges the sleeping god.

"Hey, Tela, I know 's late but the big boss called." he whispers, attempting to wake the deity with minimal disturbance.

His request is met with silence.

"...pal? C'mon, Rob's gonna be pissed if we're late." he states, not wishing for either one of the two men to be lectured by their creator.

Builderman hears nothing but his own breathing amongst the unsettling stillness of the room he finds himself in.

"..." Builderman, concerned, slightly peels away a corner of the draped blanket from the unconscious deity.

The admin suddenly feels as though he were petrified the moment his eyes caught a glimpse of a golden stain. Blood. Fresh at that. Yet to fully infuse with the fibers of the blanket.

"...Telamon...?...bud...?" the admin has yet to look up at Telamon's face, his heartbeat picking up pace alongside his breathing turning a tinge ragged.

He dreads doing this, he dreads turning his gaze higher. But he knows he has to, he knows that sooner or later, he must face the inevitable. Knowing that, he looks, he looks and wishes he didn't. Telamon lays there, unmoving, not a single breath, nothing but blood escapes his lips, golden liquid seeping through the slight opening. His gold and amber eyes stay partially open, reflecting the moonlight instead of the daylight taken straight from the sun's corona like they used to, no longer doing so. His wings limp, a slight scratch on his cheek, distanced barely an inch apart from his eyes, potentially a consequence of one of the top wings going lifeless.

Builderman's hands tremble, his entire form shakes. He knows not how to react to the ache in his chest. To the tears spilling from his eyes without saying that they could. To the unmoving body of his coworker, his best friend.

He reaches out, not knowing if he's reaching for the deity besides him or for hope.

"...Te-...Telamon?..." his voice is cracked, gentle, desperate. He takes the god's form into his quaking arms, his callused hands holding Telamon from his back with a delicacy unexpected from the hard worker. The admin holds him against his heart, against a heartbeat the god is not to replicate.
