Little Dark Choco and Caramel Arrow playing outside and seeing this weird child in the woods, surrounded by wolves but it’s clearly not a wolf and too small for their liking, so they tell the king and he decides (influenced by Choco’s puppy eyes) to take that unhinged thing inside with all the wolves in his pack. The wolves end up being incredible companions and the warriors want to keep them and train them, and his son and his friend have grown attached to the weird kid the wolves came with so he has to officially adopt him and allow the wolves to stay. Ends up being one of the best decisions of his life, which are a few (less than five)
Now he has to deal with the fact that the unofficial adopted child of Hollyberry wants to be with the once feral child that is now his second most trusted warrior. Dark Cacao is too old for this shit and may be thinking about retirement (and leaving the kingdom to Caramel Arrow bc his son is having a self finding trip who knows where and he is not going to force him to come back)
