I am in the middle of transferring a site from Joomla (Hacked...) to WordPress for security and ease of editing reasons. Anyways, I imported 100+ PDFs to the wp-content/uploads/10/ folder but the Media Library didn't recognized them.

I searched and found this great plugin. After about 45 seconds all the PDFs were in my Library and I was in business. Hope this helps someone else down the line.
