In addition to providing Impossible Studios employees with 3 months of severance pay, we’ll be giving the team the opportunity to form a new company with the Impossible Studios name and the awesome Impossibear logo.

Epic Games is shutting down Impossible Studios, but founder Tim Sweeney seems comforted by the fact that the staff, comprised mainly of Big Huge Games alumni that have now been shut down twice in a year, get to keep the rights to the logo.

Then again, that's probably more than what they got from BHG.

Before releasing even a single game, Impossible Studios is closing its doors. It's sad to see any studio shut down, and I hope they can get back on their feet.
