         Even away from Winterfell and the pressure of Winter Jon still found sleep to be impossible. The beds were comfortable enough, more so than any bed he had ever slept upon, but he just couldn’t manage to send himself off to sleep so when he sat down for long enough with his mind at rest he found that his eyes had began to get heavy. Without any hesitation he tugged Clara closer when she cuddled up to him, taking such comfort and allowing it to calm him enough that he actually began to fall asleep.

            When he knew Clara he had been a boy, the bastard son of a lord who had very little interest when it came to women. It was Robb who had always attracted the girls, high or low born, but rarely had they cared to speak to Jon and he felt the same in return. At that time Clara had been a friend, a comfort, and he had never looked at her in any way beyond that but now it felt different. She had blown in once again with the summer’s breeze and something made him want to CLING to her, to keep that comfort close before she disappeared once more. “As long as you don’t leave again,” he grumbled quietly before their lips met again, his hands moving to press against her back in a bid to keep her with him.
