Transcending Time

"Clara!" She came calling through the door. She started to flip off her shoes as the door shut behind her and tossed her keys into the bowl.
Ziencora had been working, but at the same time, was the typical to be a child. She was silly, joking, lazy and over protective. Most of all, she clashed with Clara in a way where they would finish each other's sentences either in arguments or in wits. Took them awhile in college to figure that out, but that is the way Ziencora worked, and for good reason.
There was secrets in this house, old ones, that she held close to her. It made people question her, yet never ask those questions because it was the feeling of small prickles to the back of the neck. It had something to do with her eyes, the way Ziencora would look at you, it would make you feel small, and yet like you were the most important thing in the world to her, stranger or not.
"Clara I got those books you wanted, the book store had a " She blinked walking into the living room seeing a few of her things randomly on the table. "Oh crap, what did I do now?" She sighed knowing what was coming next.
Ziencora took the bridge of her nose between her fingers before jumping over the side of the cough, laying down and waited to be bit into. She was already running Clara's words through her head.
