umm… i dont know how to actually put it that it wont kinda totally appall you but… thats how marriages in pakistan happen almost 60-70% of the times, guys parents like a girl, they ask the guy and if he is interested, guys PARENTS send a proposal (sometimes guy likes a girl and asks his parents to send proposal), girls parents consider it, then they ask the girl if she agrees…YeahMarriage!Its a weird roundabout way of it, and sometimes it pretty much suffocating maybe? it was terrifyingly depressing for me when i knew NOTHING about him, and they were asking if i like him… but nobody is forced… like if i say no, nobody is gonna force me into it…But then the next proposal goes pretty much the same way, so like… its agonize over it now, or agonize over the next one…I dont like this system… but it has works for people… i hope it works for me too..:P
