Imposter Part 9
Sorry for holding this off for so long I got busy with irl stuff But anyways here’s the final part of this godawful fic ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Goth ran to the police station to find an officer to talk to. After looking around for a bit he finally found the one that is holding Palette in the cell.
“Officer! May I speak to you for a bit?” He asked.
“Sure, but make it quick.” He replied.
“I think I know how to prove that Palette is innocent.” He grinned widely.
“Really? How?” The officer said, having a bit of a doubt.
“Ok, so here’s what I came up with…” Goth started off.
~~~~Later~~~~
Goth was wearing one of his old hoodies, a black colored one, and heading over to Fell Palette’s house. A small speaker buzzed from the inside of his hoodie.
“Kid are you sure about this? The way you described this guy seems a bit unsafe and could get you hurt.” The officer spoke through it.
“Trust me, I know what I’m doing.” Goth spoke back in it.
“Do you even know if it’ll work?” The officer asked.
“I’m certain it’ll work, just stay hidden until I say ‘the word,’ okay?” Goth said.
“Alright… If you say so.” The officer responded. Goth made it to Fell Palette’s front door. He was about to knock but then hesitated. He took a deep breath to calm himself.
‘You can do it Goth. Just knock on the door.’ He thought to himself. He finally knocked and waited. It wasn’t too long until Fell Palette opened the door. He saw Goth and smirked.
“Well well well, look who came back~” Fell Palette said, supposedly believing it was Fell Goth.
“Whatever.” Goth rolled his eyes, thinking it would be something his Fell version would say.
“And what made you want to come back hmm~?” Fell Palette asked smugly. Goth froze up.
“I-I… U-um…” He stuttered. Fell Palette chuckled.
“Just couldn’t resist me~?” Fell Palette’s smirk grew bigger. Goth sighed and got back into character.
“Tch, as if.” Goth said crossing his arms and looking away. Fell Palette chuckled and suddenly grabbed Goth’s arm and pulled him towards him.
“Now, where were we before you left so rudely~?” Fell Palette said. His smirk slightly faltered as he noticed something was off with ‘Fell Goth’. He brushed it off.
For now.
“Actually, why don’t we go further inside?” Fell Palette said taking note that they are still by the door. He pulled Goth inside his house. He took notice of all the money and jewelry.
“So where did you get all of this?” Goth asked.
“Uh… Do you not remember? I literally told you not even a few hours ago.” Fell Palette said. Goth froze again.
“Erm… Mind telling me again? Just to refresh my memory…” Goth said and began to reach up for his scarf. Fell Palette let out an annoyed sigh.
“Well if you didn’t know already I disguised myself as my shitty classic and robbed a bunch of- what are you doing?” Fell Palette stopped himself mid-sentence as he noticed Goth was holding onto his scarf.
“N-nothing…” Goth quickly put his hand down. Fell Palette got closer to him. Goth started to get nervous and gulped. Fell Palette instantly pinned Goth against the wall. Goth let out a small squeak.
“Do you really think I’m that stupid? Thinking I wouldn’t figure out you’re not my Goth?” Fell Palette said. Goth began to shake under his grip but took a deep breath.
“Funny enough how this will end they way it started. With an ‘imposter’.” Goth lowered his head closer to his scarf when he said the last part. Fell Palette raised a brow, not knowing what he meant. Almost immediately he heard sirens from outside his house.
“Fell Palette we have you surrounded, there’s no use trying to escape.” The officer from earlier spoke into his microphone.
“Ha, what are they gonna do? They can’t arrest me if they have no evidence on me.” Fell Palette laughed.
“Nooo but they DO have audio evidence of you admitting to robbing those places along with your visual evidence that you failed to hide.” Goth revealed the speaker in his scarf and then pointed at the piles of jewelry and money.
“……Ah fuck.” Fell Palette said defeated. Goth chuckled.
~~~Time skip to the police station because I’m lazy -w-~~~
Fell Palette was being walked over to Palette’s cell in handcuffs to take his place in it.
“Alright kid you’re free.” The officer said opening the cell.
“GOTH!!” Palette ran out the cell and into Goth’s arms at lightning speed, nearly tackling him to the ground
“Oof!! Hehe, hey Palette…” Goth said returning the hug. Palette was clinging onto Goth like he hasn’t seen him in years.
“Goth I missed you so much…” Palette buried his face in Goth’s shoulder, tears forming in his eyes.
"I missed you too… But you’re out now and that’s what matters to me the most.” Goth pulled away and smiled looking into his eyes, having tears in his as well. Palette leaned in and gave him a tender kiss. He couldn’t resist, it’s been too long since he has done so and he missed how Goth’s lips felt against his.
“UGH, get a room you two.” Fell Palette said disgusted.
“Ahem.” The officer cleared his throat and adjusted his hat looking away. Palette remembered that they weren’t alone and instantly pulled away, blushing. Goth giggled, blushing as well.
“S-so uh, should we get going?” Palette said.
“Heheh, sure.” Goth took his hand and walked out of the station. They walked to Goth’s house in silence, simply enjoying to be with the other again.
~~~Once there~~~
Goth and Palette were peacefully watching a movie, Palette having his arm around Goth and Goth snuggling up close to him. They both signed happily in unison.
“Welp, after that experience I would prefer to hold off any outdoor dates for a while and just hang out at home.” Palette spoke breaking the silence. Goth laughed.
“Yeah, me too.” Goth said kissing his cheek. They went back to watching their movie.
Aaaaaaand just like the best parents ever, Geno and Reaper were taking pictures of them from a distance.
With the flash off this time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yeah sorry if the ending seems rushed but I just wanted to get this over with Cuz I don’t like writing stuff that has like 3+ chapters XD Goth- @nekophy Palette/Fell Palette- @angexci
