is qsmp 2 going to be a separate category from qsmp 1? or are they both going to be considered under qsmp for this event
Hello! For sake of keeping things with simple with teams, we are not splitting up fandoms by seasons of content. (i.e. Life Series not Third life or double life, etc. ; qsmp not qsmp 1 and qsmp 2; Lifesteal not Lifesteal world, Lifesteal season 7 etc.) You are making your own piece and if placed on a qsmp team, you are more than welcome to make something that only goes for one of the seasons.
Prompts will not be character specific, so even if you are reading another fandom's collection, you should be able to find the common prompt regardless if you know the characters or not.

I read through your rules doc, and it says anything smp or roleplay is allowed with some leniency on rpf. But is minecraft speedrunning and those ccs allowed? I just wanted to make sure before I signed up
Hello! I saw your 2nd ask saying you found that we included MCSR in the fandom drop down, but I'm going to use your ask to say that we purposely included the 'other' box for folks to sign up with whatever Minecraft fandoms/Minecraft adjacent VBRPF they wish so long as they meet the criteria of 'All parties must be 18+, famous in their own right, and the creator of a character in a Minecraft fandom of any size.'
It's easier to explain this with examples that break the rule: A Homemade server I made with friends wouldn't be counted, because it is non-famous. ChilledChaos's Among Us Lobby would not count because it's a non-minecraft gaming fandom.
We also need 6-10 people in the fandom in order to accommodate teams, we try our best to cater towards smaller fandoms as much as we are able. (Last year we managed to have a Lifesteal team, a Q SMP team, and a Rats SMP team) So if you wish to have a specific fandom, please encourage other mutuals in said fandom to sign up!
are the prompts for crewmates going to be specific or broad or... idk somewhere in between like what should i expect
The prompts are going to be broad nouns. We have been doing our best to playtest and make the prompts widely applicable so that you aren't forced into creating something you aren't passionate about. I won't give an example for spoilers sake, but some non-examples (because they are too specific) would be diamond, happy, or breakfast.

Teams may be mixed! We can't guarantee an even divide between writer and artists, but they'll be randomly placed throughout all the teams.

I would like to join the event as an artist. But my most comfortable medium of art is traditional (aka pencil and paper, ect.) is this allowed? If not, that's fine. I have a few other means to complete artwork.
Yes, we'd allow traditional art! We only ask you make sure to have a detailed background, and otherwise meet the art requirement minimums!
