Last week, I had the pleasure of working with @princesanity1 who has a beautiful deep skin tone. During the makeup application, we got chatting about what other artists do with his skin and it was really sad to hear that most MUAs didn’t know what to do with his rich skin tone! They end up just moisturizing his skin & leaving it at that. I really hope fellow artists take the time to work with all skin tones since that’s the only way we are going to cater to everyone and get better at what we do. Post skincare, I’ve used @maccosmeticsuk studio fix foundation with mixing medium to get a sheer coverage since Prince has beautiful skin already & I just wanted to even out his skin tone. I then set the face with translucent powder. For highlighter, I used @maccosmeticsuk cream color base in impropper copper.
