Parents!
My mom and dad are now packing up to continue their journey to Missouri. It was sooo great to have them here for the weekend. My mom was so helpful with everything. It was amazing to have someone come live in my situation and see the dynamics. She gave me a lot of good advise about my physical and emotional health. I need to worry about me first. I get in the place where I really like making other people happy so I say yes all the time and go out of my way to do nice things. Last month this lead to me spending all my grocery money on my roommates and not getting any of my stuff as promised, and babysitting everyday. I have to have clear boundaries so I can work on myself. That's what this move was all about in the first place. I'm gonna miss my mom, but I'm lovin' all this motivation!
