hi i went through a rabbit hole while trying to find the stargirl logo and found dc microheroes

Impulse 1000000 is a totally undeveloped character because he was just made as a gag for their One Million event BUT he still compels me.

My own headcanons surrounding his existence more or less make him as the neutron star of Speedsters - he was the scout of Bart's the died and went through a whole cosmic horror existence within the Speed Force itself until he was born again and now is this energy being that can essentially do things that not even normal speedsters can because he doesn't have a body and never did.

I also named him Syn for synapse.

Still riding that old head canon that Impulse 1000000 is the scout that died on Apokolips. He was immediately burned back into the Speed Force where all of his experiences were relayed back to Bart but he remained as pure energy within for hundreds, maybe even thousands of years before he was able to be something approximating tangibility.

He remembers all of Bart's life before his death, then nothing else. He might have even called himself Bart once, but that's so far gone from his history it cannot even count. He's someone new, he remembers the taste of water melon and the way how the light on Carol's glasses flickered. He remembers Kon's laugh and playing Random Trivia for hours but.... he is not that boy.

He died then and that in of itself became something like a birth for him as he was severed from his self forever.

Maybe he likes to play dumb and allow people to believe he is the amalgamation of all the random thoughts carried by Speedsters throughout the ages, maybe remembering that he was part of Bart who is long gone, part of the Speed Force himself is too painful, or maybe he doesn't remember anything after all and his origins are mysterious.
