Gilbert is pretty experienced with impulsive and high energy people, thanks to dealing with Oz for so long.
He's pretty good with dealing with your impulsions, only really putting a stop to it when it comes to money and important things.
Other than that, he is fine with acting as your primary impulse control.
However, when your mood suddenly sours and falls into a depressive slump, he's not very experienced with that.
Gil'll do whatever he can to try and cheer you up, being affectionate, patient, whatever you'd need as long as you told him.
If that doesn't work, he'll get worried and will have a doctor check you out to ensure that if it's a mental health issue it gets the appropriate help you need or so he can at least learn how to help you better.
If it is a mental health issue, he'd ensure that you keep on top of your medicine and do his best to continue to be supportive and caring.
In all honesty, he sometimes enjoys your more low energy times.
He doesn't enjoy the fall in mood, Gil worries about you still, but he does enjoy the break from the impulsive chaos. He adores you no matter the mood, but sometimes it's good to get a break from the mayhem he already gets from Oz, Alice, and Break at work.
When it comes to your impulsivity, he'd do his best to help you channel that energy into healthy ways that don't include him struggling with money or being chased by monsters, animals, or guards to try and get you out of the trouble you can likely get into.
Though, that's not to say he doesn't enjoy your spontaneous habits.
Honestly, your high energy is something that attracted him to you, because it gets Vincent off his back about being such a creature of habit and keeps him from being too scared to change things on a whim sometimes.
You also get along with Vincent pretty well, as both of you are adoring, sometimes pretty hyper heathens, so Gil very much holds that in high favor. Especially later into his relationship with his brother, when they get past that initial awkwardness and distrust.
