Headecanon: Pain.

Send me a word plus 'Headcanon' and I'll give a headcanon based on that word.

  He is able to ignore most pain he endures at times he needs to hide it, although it will take a lot of energy, resulting in him needing a lot more rest than usual. But if it takes too much and he is too tired, you can count on him being troublesome and emotional; even if it’s completely against his own will, him feeling he should conform to society’s standards of a man if he can, that includes toughening up whenever he is desperate, despite this having been the worst idea yet in many situations.

  He is definitely not immune to pain, but due to his secretive nature regarding emotions such as these--- the distress that comes with pain, usually-- people will render him a person difficult to defeat, even if that certainly is not the case. If he suddenly collapses or faints, you can be sure it is due to unspoken pain he didn't want to burden you with.
