Pakistan will never start a war with India :Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan
Amid the growing tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours over Kashmir, Pakistan Prime Minister held talks with Sikh Communities regarding issuance of multiple visas, facilitating the Sikh Community to visit Holy Places.
Pakistan Prime Minister reiterated that,Pakistan will never ever start the war. As both Pakistan and India are nuclear powers and if tension aggravates the world will face danger, said Imran Khan while addressing a gathering of the Sikh community at the Governor’s House here.
Imran Khan said that war is not a solution to any problem.and conveyed in a Positive Hope that, War is not a solution to any problem and the winner in a war is also to be a loser. War will give birth to host of other issues, Imran Khan said.
India have not been engaged with Pakistan since an attack on the Air Force base at Pathankot in January of 2016 by Pakistan-based terrorists, maintaining on the stand that, talks and terror cannot go hand-in-hand together.
At the Beginning of this Year, Tensions were at the peak following a suicide bomber of Pakistan based Jais-e-Muhhammed (JeM) killed 40 CRPF Personnel in Kashmir's Pulwama District.
Amidst excessive outrage, the Indian Air Force carried out a counter-terror operation, hitting the biggest JeM training camp in Balakot, an interior Pakistan Territory, on February 26.
The next day, Pakistan Air Force retaliated and downed a MiG-21 in an aerial combat and captured Indian pilot,Abinandan, who was handed over to India on March 1.
Tension aroused between India and Pakistan and have been recently escalated after New Delhi revoked Jammu and Kashmir’s special status. Pakistan as a Drastic step against India, withheld all the Diplomatic ties with New Delhi and expelled the Indian High Commissioner.
Recalling his previous telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Imran Khan said that he has conveyed the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi that, there are similar circumstances both in Pakistan and India. recalled the talks with Modi about the climate change. Pakistan Prime Minister said that, he remained Modi, that both the Countries were sitting on a ticking bomb and if this issue of climate change, if not addressed, will result in Perennial problems like scarcity of water in both countries. Imran Khan said that, both India and Pakistan, together can solve the Kashmir dispute through dialogue.
Expressing his frustration over “no response” from India for his efforts to hold talks on all bilateral issues, Mr. Khan said that, inspite of the efforts He made, India acted like a super power prescribing pre-conditions for Pakistan to do this and not to do that for holding talks. It was giving us dictation, Imran Khan said while addressing Sikh Community gathering.
He told the participating Sikhs who had come from different European countries that Pakistan would issue multiple visas to Sikhs so that they could visit their holy places.
