GO VOTE If you are a german citizien and eligible to vote I urge you to go. It has always bothered me when people didn't use their right to vote because it's pretty amazing that we have the right to vote while in other countries people still have to fight for it. I'm deeply ashamed that the idiocy of spreading lies and and hate, calling honest media fake news etc. poisened almost 10% of the country which wasn't more than a place of poverty, fear and destruction after WWll. People who lived in the DDR as children scream that they want the wall back. Forgetting what the Stasi did to their parents, that many of them risk their life to come to the west knowing that they would inprisoned for speaking their mind. They come as refugees, but now their even against taking refugees children in. What happened to us? That some have forgotten how it can be to live in constant surveillance. That they forget about hunger, pain and war. Now they will be in the opposition, but that's another step on their way, a way Germany decided to never go again. I'm ashamed, because the people who died in Holocaust deserve our all respect, that we honor their memory. I'm sad, because I hear elderly people who fought themselves in WWll say how shocked they are about recent development. What has to happen, so that everyone gets the message? We weren't able to stop the AFD on their rise. We tried, but failed. But listen, in the next four years, we'll work even harder. We fight nationalism and populist with all we have.
