Our Ethan deserves our acknowledgement and celebration before sharing anything else. He’s one pooped Sherpa. Woke up briefly this morning to play on his iPad then immediately fell back asleep. He just may sleep all day. He was a real trooper waking up super early to head out with us to the race start at 4am and being there till the very end when we both crossed the finish line. We saw a very grown up young man last night and a heart of gold helping us gather all our race bags and bikes. Sitting in the VIP area allowed him to witness many athletes of all ages and fitness levels that crossed the finish.
