Yesterday was a busy fuckin day. Not only did we filter the #nordmead but I made chocolate chip cupcakes with vanilla cream cheese frosting 🧁 a vat of bolognese, and three kinds of sourdough bread 🍞. Brioche buns, cheddar jalapeño, and another focaccia. I really feel like I’m getting a solid handle on feeding and using my sourdough starter. The focaccia in particular turned out amazingly. It’s light, fluffy and just the right kind of salty. The sauce is a regular in our house now and I’m happy to have made enough to share it with my favorite cat dad’s this Father’s Day. The second (not pictured) cheddar & jalapeño loaf was for my dad. Eat good. Feel good.
