Sorry I have not posted in quite a bit, I have really not been doing great!! umu (if you saw any of my rant posts which I then deleted cause *.•embarrassment*.•… I am so sorry * ^ *) In any case, I was not sure what to post until I had time to sit down at a computer and stuff, but then I had some old sketches around, so hooray! I ended up making new sketches at work anyways today and over the weekend, and all of my new ones have my blog signature on it! The old ones feature a handsome devil and a little arcana “goat” oc because we need more goats… fun fact, but I have like hundreds of sketches of the devil from my first couple years at college! I was actually obsessed with him… it was very bad… I could not resist his beautiful snout and horns… I might post them sometime if I ever get around to it! I have a couple of the Devil x the Hierophant ones too if anyone (besides me) likes that…

— Valerius is almost unbearably uptight, but if you can volley verbal jabs with him and aren’t easily offended, you’ll get along just fine. He’s a nag and a snob, but has your best interests at heart.
— Anyone who makes so much as a snide remark in your direction will be read to filth. His knack for picking out other peoples flaws is like his superpower. He won’t be satisfied until they‘re sniveling, weeping, and humiliated by the end of his tirade for disrespecting his partner. It’s the only time you truly see him lose control.
— Trust you will be spoiled! His gifts make up most of your wardrobe, and since he has an eye for what looks flattering on you, it’s hard to refuse.
— Yes, you suppose that necklace does complement your eyes… and the shade of that garment does go perfectly with that bag you’ve been wanting to use…
— He’ll want to coordinate outfits for social events, but not before a proper pampering at a spa date. He insists it’s a necessary step for looking your best, and you have to admit holding hands while getting massages is romantic.
— Expect mindless touches he doesn’t think twice about, like fixing your hair, brushing lint off your collar, and a guiding hand on your waist to steer you around puddles.
— Aside from that, Valerius mainly expresses his love through gift-giving. It was a little overwhelming when you first began courting, but now you eagerly await every shiny trinket he bequeaths to you.
— He pays more attention to you than you realize. From what sort of foods you do or don’t like, the style of clothing you gravitate towards, the jewelry that makes your head turn in the marketplace.
— Valerius’ kisses are slow, deep, and something to be savored. He takes his time, learning what makes you sigh and lean into him. He tastes of wine and mint, and makes the cutest whine when you bite his lip. It’s all too easy for him to become kiss-drunk, chasing your lips when you pull away too soon.
— Nothing annoys him more than when you tease him by turning away at the last moment so his kisses land on your cheek. He is petty and will withhold kisses from you the rest of the day to teach you a lesson </3
— Beneath all that powder and priss, Valerius cares more than he’ll dare say. He especially cares what you think of him, if you can believe it.

Well, maybe I should explain why one of Helia's dads has clogs 👁👄👁
In Helia's backstory, I talked a little about the two of them. You may have noticed that they have very similar uniforms to Professor Avalon's, and that's because they're both paladins like him
Lumiel is Saladin's nephew and his husband Valerius is a unicorn, a new fairy species that I decided to add to my vision of the Magic Dimension. So far there are Magixians, Pixies, Elves (Palladium and Vexius), Leprechauns (Wizgiz), Mermaids (Aisha's relatives), Downlandians (Amentia), Felinaaris (Yori), Hydropolis (Agween) and now Unicorns too
Unicorns are gifted with powerful magic from birth (like elves and leprechauns) they don't have to cultivate it like magixians, but Valerius is first and foremost a warrior
However, as inspiration for these two I took from Ballister and Ambrosius from Nimona (I love my gay knights 💗👉🏻👈🏻)
