No, I did not give in, though that scene would have made me happier, it wouldn’t have worked for the characters at the time
3. You have to erase one of your fics from existence forever. Which one and why?
Ohman if I had to pick a fic, there’s one I wrote for a friend that I liked at the time, but it icks me out so much now and I’m not friends with that person so yeah I’ve already deleted it from AO3 but if I could like pretend it never existed, that’d be cool too
As for a story, the hardest part is picking one, because there are a few I’m constantly head-desking about and regretting showing to people and cringing a lot on why I thought it was good but I was also overly dramatic in my writing style in HS and I thought a lot of things were EDGY and COOL but I was 1) too immature to write them or 2) they weren’t. at all.
9. Are there any unintentional trends in your writing?
For a long time in MS/HS, shitty dads were a thing. Why? I don’t know why! I love my dad!! My dad is great!!! Why did I write so many shitty dads and not-present moms? I think I was falling into a trope I was seeing in media or something idk but I’ve tried to improve that. Now I only have one Shitty Dad, and he wins Shitty Dad of the Year Award.
A lot of the MC being transported from a boring life to a fantasy. Don’t need to explain that one.
