Hii, I hope you don't mind me asking you this, but I'm kiiiinda hoping you might know this haha. So I've been in Trigun fandom in and out for years, though never interacted with the people inside of it. I know the whole VK / KV tagging etiquette, however I've lately noticed people getting quite upset/heated in regards to those who tag their posts as both KV and Plantcest or VK and Plantcest, demanding to just use either Kv or Vk. To my understanding Plantcest is the general ship, regardless of top/bottom dynamics. Do you know whether that is correct to assume, or is there more to it that I'm missing? So, as far as I know and from what I have interacted with, the KV and VK are about the dynamics as you say and the Plantcest is for the general ship but there really isn't any issue with the shippers, so I'm not familiar with this discourse (yet?).

⚠️ However; I must inform you—and anyone else that is interested—that Plantcest is not exclusive to the twins! There are Sisters xVash or SistersxKnives works out there and those are Plantcest as well. ⚠️

So this is one umbrella tag for all plants within the series. That, in itself is more of a reason to tag the specific dynamics but it's also not a reason to not use the tag. I follow the Plantcest tag because I like both dynamics, so it doesn't make sense for people to oppose it, you know?

As for whether someone can tag them reversi? Sure! We also have the KVK tag, where either one twin can be top. I haven't really checked this one here on tumblr, in all honesty, because pretty much everyone tags them as Plantcest. LOL

But, yeah... Those that ask for that kind of specific tagging are probably (?) not shippers who want to cause trouble or are too niche in their shipping and just want to be dramatic about it—Hey! Pst! If you are one of those people, just follow your favorite tag and block the dynamic you don't like! It's easy! I can even give you directions!!! 😗

On the other hand, though, if this is by the antis to cause trouble, with all due disrespect: Go do something else for fun. 🥶

Oh gosh, I haven’t been in SPN fandom for a looooong time, but maybe Tumblr can help. I didn’t use AO3 back then to share my bookmarks, but even if you start reading anything by Obstinatrix, Architeuthis, Rageprufrock, Bauble, RC Mclachlan, Marswithghosts (then Cautionzombies), Fossarian (not sure if her stuff is still live on AO3), or Annundriel, you’d be off to a great start. I know I am missing a million more amazing authors. (And pardon my laziness for not linking to their AO3 profiles, but they should all be searchable.)

Hii, I've been looking for a Sterek fic for ages but I can't find it anywhere, and I was wondering whether you might know it? It's an AU where Derek is a crappy alpha and in order to help the pack learn how to work together/function properly, Deaton asks Stiles for help. Stiles has these powers with which he can perform spells but they form these very painful tattoos on his skin. With the help of Lydia and Danny(I think) he pulls through but Stiles himself needs help. Also he's Derek's mate..

Hmm, one of my fics Dragon’s Breath has some of those elements but not all of them and that’s the only one I can think of. Anyone else have any ideas?

Well, he IS the main character, and his role has to be tailored to match in the writers' eyes. I'm having a lot of problems with what Jeff and Posey have had to say about Scott's direction this season, and it's clear they're setting him up to seem like more of an "alpha" and therefore a more significant player in whatever's going on with the new big bads, but frankly I've always felt they've done things a bit ass backward where Scott is concerned. For 2 seasons we've been *told* how significant Scott is and what a great leader he is, supposedly with examples to follow of why this is so, but I'd rather prefer they do it the other way round so that it'd feel more believable and less hollow. I very much hope they'll prove me wrong, but to be honest your guess as to why the alphas have singled him out as so significant is as good as mine.

Heyy!! c: I was wondering.. Jeff said that this season we will learn more about Scott's father, right? What if we already are? What if all the crazy that's going on has something to do with his father and that might also be the reason as to why the alpha pack is after Scott.. what do you think? I'm just wildly speculating here lol :p

Hmmm… I sort of doubt Scott’s dad is related to the supernatural in any way, and I think we’ll probably just find out more about him in the way that we’ve been promised more background on ALL the characters this season, including Derek’s family, Stiles’s mum, Lydia’s sister, etc. If Scott’s father IS somehow connected to the supernatural though… well. The words “bit of a stretch, Davis” would come to mind.
