As Leaves Fall.

There are no chandeliers in God's halls. Just a million suns and beautiful oak trees. Wet grass and dandelions, sunflower and lavender fields. You haven't learned a thing if you had to die to see one. Was life so brutal, what killed your curiosity? Ever loved someone so much that you are unrecognizable now? If you waited for summer, this was it, if you waited for spring, this was it. If you did it right, love and prayer would've felt the same. If you did it right, you would have met yourself and I wouldn't have a name. Oh I wish you did it right, you would have arrived with silence and a song.

I knew I could never have you,

And from day one,

That has been my truth;

But despite all odds,

My heart still rooted only for you;

Since the start,

I knew I'd lose this race,

I knew it would break my heart;

Yet I decided to run,

To feel the pain, to ache for you;

Because you, my dear, reign over my mind;

When you're with me, it freezes the time,

And for you I'd burn,

I'd burn for a lifetime,

Knowing it'll leave a scar;

A testimony of my love for you.

It's like I could never love anyone but you;
