Please share accurate medical information FOR ONCE!
Heya guys! Since a 17 year old girl died of MEASLES a couple days ago in my (first world) country because she didn’t take the vaccines for it, I wanna clarify something. The internet sure is a creepy place overflowing with information that we can’t know it’s true or false, It can get confusing sometimes to know who and where to trust. So, as an ex-med student, I will share one of the very few places we were ever allowed to quote, due to how many rules one undergoes before being allowed to publish here.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/ You need to be a certified doctor or scientist to post here, plus your study must first be extensively reviewed by a number of people, so it does not contain any weird methods, conclusions, phrasing, anything that would lead to false conclusions. There are also other related websites, (you can easily find their links inside the many articles) that are connected to this one, and as such, are very trustworthy too. You can find articles as old as your grandma, as well as articles that came out this same year! My most precious advice is to find articles that sum up the information from several other articles so you don’t have to read 50 of them, while you can always go to the quoted section and verify one or two you got curious about! This way, you will have access to certified information, based on statistics, correlations, studies, etc. from all over the world, people with ACTUAL MEDICAL EDUCATION with different theories, cultures, and countries of origin, not some snotty teen blogger that doesn’t even know how to gather true internet information. PLEASE, THIS IS IMPORTANT, REBLOG THIS, SPREAD ACTUAL INFORMATION, CREATED BY SCHOLARS. INFORM YOURSELF, EDUCATE YOURSELF, MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS AND TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR OWN LIFE IN A SAFE AND INFORMED WAY, READING THINGS WITH YOUR OWN EYES AND MAKING ACTUAL INFORMED DECISIONS! ps: the girl passed away because she had an anaphylactic reaction to the measles vaccination, which is incredibly damn rare and may happen with anything from a painkiller to a strawberry or a peanut, so she couldn’t take the second shot that she needed to be fully immunized. She was fully immunized for everything else. Since the illness was eradicated in our country due to extensive vaccination, she should be ok, but some smartass didn’t immunize their own kid and she ended up getting ill when traveling abroad IN EUROPE. This girl had two loving sisters who she went on holidays with, a loving family and many friends who now mourn her. Just imagine losing your sibling, your classmate, your best friend, your kid, your lover, so suddenly at such a young age, after casually spending spring somewhere. I can’t imagine anything more unnatural and unfair. - Well, I can but, in this case, this death was unnecessary.
