A terrible accident. That's what happened. Lu Han was riding in the ambulance with the woman. 

If only he had cleaned up first before allowing her to come in and survey the place and ask questions for an article. Then none of this would have happened-- no spills of chemicals, no broken glass, no nothing. God, he was going to get one hell of a scolding when he returned from this trip to the emergency room. 

"Good thing we were just in time..." he exhaled a small sigh after speaking his words. Lu Han shot the lady an shameful glance. "My apologies for what happened... I assure you it won't happen ever again." It was alright if she didn't forgive him. He deserved it after all. It was a careless mistake on his part-- not cleaning up.

"Why weren’t you there?"

Lu Han blinked, confused for a moment until he remembered-- the convention! There was a convention last week. His colleagues and himself worked hard to put together a presentation on their latest research project. Which was all about FXTAS, and what new information his team discovered. But, sadly--

"The flu managed to catch me. I was held in its vise-like grip for quite awhile." he admitted with a smidgen of guilt. Lu Han was so excited for the convention-- but he just had to get sick and miss the entire thing. Plus the interview. Yes, they were going to be interviewed because the information they had discovered was groundbreaking somewhat. 

"My most sincere apologies." A bow was offered, arms stuck to his sides. Chances like these only happened every so often-- and he blew his!
