The walk to the train station with Nagisa had been different than usual. Generally, he would open his mouth the second they started out and wouldn’t stop talking until they said goodbye. But today he hadn’t said a word. At first, Rei was concerned that something might be wrong, but one look at Nagisa’s face told him otherwise. He was up to something. He had a smug grin, that he would try to hide from Rei whenever he caught him looking. Once they made it to the station, Nagisa grabbed his hand, dragging him off somewhere. Rei protested, but Nagisa kept going, weaving through the crowd, never saying a word. Eventually they rounded a corner, into a deserted hallway. Nagisa stopped, pushed Rei up against the wall, and gave him a devilish smile. But Rei had been waiting for this. He had suspected the boy’s intentions for a while now. He was ready. As soon as Nagisa began to lean in for a kiss, Rei broke free of his grasp, flipped him around, and slammed him up against the wall, and before he had a chance to say anything, Rei was on him.
