The purpose of this post is to introduce you to the "rack" position in kettlebell lifting and its importance specifically in Girevoy Sport. First, a quick run down on Girevoy Sport (GS) or Kettlebell Sport, which consists of three Olympic lifts: cleans, jerks, and snatches. These lifts are combined into two events the Biathlon (combo of jerks and snatches) and Long Cycle Clean and Jerks (LCCJ).
