35. Where’s your favorite place to write?

My desk. It’s cozy, comfortable (since I splurged for a really high-end chair) and my little computer corner, in general, is my fav place to be when at home.

38. What story of yours are you surprised that people liked as much as they did?

I started a silly little MEA story shortly after the game came out and didn’t even write all that much for it, 2 or 3 chapters? And then I abandoned it bc the game didn’t grab me enough to stick with it. But for a few years, it was my second most read and subscribed to story on my account...

@in-arlathan gonna make a separate reply since tumblr is being weird about @ in notes lately but thank you!

It is/was a very ambitious project and we stated it a little over 3 years ago already. Vaguely and with not much of an overarching, thought-through thread. And then it grew and the got organised and then we rewrote almost everything 1 1/2 years ago and by now we are close to finishing the whole story up. We’re about 5 months ahead of our posting schedule with writing and thankfully have two lovely betas that keep us motivated. 😂

So even if you are not that enthusiastic about da2 as a game you might still enjoy the story bc the whole main plot of da2 is more or less just the backdrop for a very character-based tale.

Thanks so much for your kind replies to my earlier post for WIP Whenever! I couldn’t do Six Sentence Sunday, as I’ve been drawing rather than writing - so I decided to answer with my most recent Art WIP, haha, since that’s a new hobby I’ve taken up in lockdown (also with getting an iPad and Apple Pencil for Christmas)! 

@in-arlathan -- I absolutely LOVE Procreate. It’s amazing. I especially love its autocorrect function because I can’t draw a smooth line or curve or a decent oval/circle for shit 😂  I’ve not got brave enough to draw faces and bodies yet (the ultimate goal is to draw the OTP), but I’ve drawn five or six pieces of artworks so far just following video tutorials on YouTube. “Art With Flo” is a particular favourite - highly recommended! 

@asaara-writes -- you are absolutely right. I’m having loads of fun re-learning how to do art, but digitally. You’re right that it’s really nice to be creative in a completely different way - my husband and I have been working through tutorials together and we find it really relaxing. It’s been a nice thing to distract us in lockdown, too. I’ve been inflicting my art on some poor souls on Discord though 😂 but I just feel so encouraged and happy about my progress!
