The angry French rioters were supported by Le’ Giraffe squad who really stuck they’re necks out to lighten the mood a little. Holy crêpe, this was in-seine!
All that was left was De Brie.

'In Seine' This play was courtesy of our very own Lily Bevan (who studies at Gaulier also), was gifted to the audience aboard the Altenat (a peace boat that is used for the arts!) on the River Seine in Paris. Lily wrote and performed this piece along with Ed Jaspers, Luis Ayuso Marques , and Rachel Slater. I got the fun job of choreographer for the show. A few tango tips later and Luis strutted his stuff with the flare needed to seduce a mannequin (this was the desired effect, just to be clear!). I was also stage manager for the performance, the team however did the best job possible - performing their derrières off, resulting in the award of Best Play from The Monmartre Dionysia. We had a ball being part of the night and then partied on until dawn upon the Peace Boat!
