Speaking of multi-tasking, you’d likely not be surprised how difficult it is to switch writing between the various AU projects on the fly. It’s not until I have the profiles side by side that I actually realise there’s a few differences in how they speak, their mannerisms, ticks and idiosyncrasies etc.While their at their core they are still the characters from FFXIII, the universes they’re in shape them into different individuals that do starkly contrast from each other yet still remaining as Fang and Lightning.
FtWH is getting ready to make way for the next story, so I figured it’d be interesting if they, you know. Met. To give you an example of what I mean.
(Upsilon is the tag for the I2D AU, Beta is the tag for the FtWH AU)
Upsilon Fang: “Are you fuckin’ seeing this shit?”
Upsilon Lightning: “What the hell is this?”
Beta Lightning: “That’s… A lot of tattoos.”
Beta Fang: “You’re um… Pretty intimidating there, Light. Though I think I gotta take you on a hunt so you can get your mark as well… It’s… Kinda hot.”
Upsilon Fang: “Hey. Other me. Reckon I can borrow your Lightning?”
