in the 70s and 80s, it seem like the confederation b/w palestinians and jordanians was still possible and jordan at the time was in favor of it, i was wondering whatmost jordanians think of that nowadays

I don't mean to sound like a downer but I don't see how a palestinian state (on its own) is viable with the 700k settlers in the west bank that will never leave.

hello hi i cant speak for jordanians genuinely like at all lol in all my 12 years of living here and also general existence ive discovered i am frequently at odds with the masses, that said i think u will find people on both sides/ all over of the spectrum; supportive and unsupportive with plenty in the middle. as peoples political support tends to behave.

for the most part and what its worth (and whats drilled into us in school) palestine really is near and dear to the vwide majority of jordanians however the racism/ discrimination is alive well and genuienly vile so im left leaving profoundly disillusioned and very unsure of what general sentiments are. me and my family have never taken issue with anyone based on creed or background etc but then again we rarely are representative of society here so. i hold no enimity to anyone but the sentiment (alongside common sense) seems far from common. idk does anyone else have insight

idk if its bc its 5am and i havent slept yet but i dont get the second point? west bank palestinians in jordan you mean? if yes why would they have to move (if they dont want to) but more than that why would their choice affect the making of a palestinian state like that?? so what if they stayed?????????

idk the numbers and idont know how accurate avaialbale statistics are but even if a million palestinians moved in/ those here stayed across jordan im failing to see how a free palestine is negatively impacted by this. surely the palestinians within and abroad are reason enough?? if im misunderstanding let me know

… the fact that I am so targetmaster brainrotted that it literally took me a couple seconds to realize that NO Sureshot and Spoilsport weren’t in the fic and the character was using the actual term.. not the name 😭💔
