Leave me a ღ for my muses reaction to waking up to your muse after a one night stand
┼
Hands pressed against her cheeks as she turned to look around at both of her sides before her eyes settled on the red haired's frame once again. "I— guess you are my girlfriend for a week?" It sounded more like a question, Seulmi realized, mentally cringing. No one had taught her about how to react to these kind of situations.
"You need to sleep sometime."
Is my sleeping schedule that important, does it grant people some form of rest, too? Seulmi found herself thinking, the upper row of teeth on her mouth digging against her lower lip as she eyed the male in front of her. Maybe the dark color under her eyes were too visible and displeasing, perhaps he thought she was exhausted due to the long time that was spent swimming.
Strange.
"I do sleep." She stated, plopping down on the sand and not even bothering to check how wet her (now stained of diferent colors) dress was. Or how blue her lips were. "I think it's more concerning that a stranger is worrying about my sleeping schedule and that I'm answering."
Do you believe in ghosts?
{ `hues flickering to the male body frame, Seulmi nibbled on her lower lip. Ghosts were indeed, real— as real as her old form was} I actually do… { `she mumbled, not even sure of why she was even replying to a stranger, and to such a random question. Didn’t kids learn that speaking with strangers could be dangerous? }
"You need to sleep sometime."
Her nose scrunched up lightly upon hearing the red haired’s clear words, brows narrowing slightly for mere seconds before Seulmi forces her face to relax slightly, hues focusing on the table she was cleaning before she spoke once again. “I do sleep, when it’s necessary.” And when I’m not trying to drown, she almost whispered — mainly in reference at her sudden new found need to swim daily — but it would just make her sound…sad, right? I don’t even know her name, she thought.
one, two, three, four.
It was her fourth and last day working on the small cafe she had managed to get into to cover one of the employees, and even though they pay wasn’t that great given the small span of time she was there, the money was enough for her to at least eat. The food in this world is too expensive. Strangely, during her work over the lovely place, all of her shifts had matched with the bubbly red haired female, but she hadn’t even learned the other’s name.
"Do you have a cuddle buddy yet?"
“Me?" Her voice seems to break while she pronounces the simple two-letters word, the index fingers of both of her hands motioning to her face, hazel hues widening slightly. What was that? She knew what the term cuddles meant (it was a form of affection humans — her kind, she forced the thought inside her brain — liked to engage in) and that the word buddy was a slang term for friend. Why would they be mixed together? She was taught that cuddles were meant to do with someone you are involved in a romantic way…right?
…Why is this question directed to me, out of all the people?
"I…don’t have one, actually." A nervous giggle fell from Seulmi’s lips as she pushed a wisp of her blonde locks that was blocking slightly her vision range out of her face. Eyes shifting from the female’s frame to her own worn out jeans (she had, thanks to some strange kind soul, managed to earn enough money out of her small works to buy a pair of second hand jeans, and a hoodie two sizes bigger than her own), her left eye twitched slightly. Strange questions are not what I need. “What about you?” She dared to ask, hues focusing on the other’s nameless face.
"You’re pathetic."
It was late at night, and the thin dress that used to be white clung to her bodyframe in odd ways (mainly because of the fact that she had been swimming with her clothes once again, partially because of the winter chill in the air) as her arms were wrapped around her own frame in hopes to gain some sort of warmth. With practially blue lips, Seulmi rested her head against the brickwall of the alley where she had run off to shelter herself in the best way her living conditions could offer.
Stupid, reckless.
The voice at her side ignited a shiver, blunt words practially digging agaisnt her skin. Pathetic. Her hues flutter open as she tries to locate the — from what she could hear, female — owner of the voice that had startled her. Once the other’s bodyframe is found, Seulmi’s eyes were fixed in the standing female’s ones. Just what exactly was this about?
