"I don't know how much more I can fucking take," he says irritably. Eames reads between the lines, notes the tension in his shoulders, knowing that that's what Arthur really can't take. He'll let it build and build until he explodes unless he finds an outlet, and if Eames has to screw Arthur to prevent a hostage situation, well, that's a burden he's willing to bear.

There’s a guy wearing aviators and a tatty orange and white baseball hat, sitting in a well-lit room with band and movie posters on the wall behind him. There’s some kind of palm houseplant sticking into the camera’s view from somewhere off to the guy’s right and he’s not wearing a shirt.

It was intoxicating. Arthur curled a hand in Eames' shirt and hooked an arm behind his neck, pulling him in. Eames pressed them together, pushing a thigh between Arthur's legs, and Arthur moaned.

"Christ," Eames murmured against his mouth, "I'm going to hell."

“Arthur at seventeen is not the same as Arthur at twenty-nine; Eames is one of the few people to have met Arthur at both ages.” Classic but that Arthur’s-first-time-scene will always send me to my bunk and deserves to be rec’d forever, nnngg. <3

Fandom Flummery Broken Down!

Flummery (noun): 1.easy compliments. 2. a sweet dish made with beaten eggs, milk, sugar, and flavorings. 3. Easy, sweet compliments (for our purposes 😋)

What: -An online card exchange that allows you to share some of your favourite fandom creations with others

Who:  -YOU! You will receive an online card from one other member of fandom

-THEM! You will send one card to one (or more, if you choose) other member of fandom

Where: -Online! It’s cheap, easy, and (hopefully) painless

When: -Sign-ups are open until June 29th. Sign up HERE! -You will receive your recipient’s info by June 30th -Cards will be sent out between July 1st and 31st

Why: -Inceptiversary, of course! -It’s also a great way to share what we love with other members of fandom, as all fandom works are meant to be. The newbies, the olds, the lurkers, we all deserve to interact with the best the Inception Fandom has to offer!

How: Step 1 - Receive recipient info from @inceptionficrx, including interests and rating preferences Step 2 - Comb through all your favourite works (art, fics, blogs, etc.) Step 3 - Fall in love with those works all over again Step 4 - Select at least 5 (or more!) works that fit your recipients interests Step 5 - Create a virtual greeting card for your recipient using a website like GreetingsIsland or create your own with editing software like Canva and send it via email Step 6 - Post links to the works you’ve selected into the message of the card or email and send to your recipient! Step 7 - Enjoy the links you receive in your own gifted card and post them on tumblr (#fandomflummery) so everyone can check them out!

Inception Fandom Flummery

As Inceptiversary approaches and we all start preparing for the brilliance that is about to be created in our fandom, I’d like to take a moment to appreciate all that which has come before. 

Artwork! Blogs! Fics! Mood Boards! Podfics! Gifs! Drabbles! Playlists! This fandom has so many amazing works to share, and in the spirit of sharing I’d like to introduce Fandom Flummery: And Exchange of Favourited Works! 

Fandom Flummery is an online card exchange where you send and receive at least five links to works favourited by your donor that are in line with your own tastes. 

Everyone who signs up is agreeing to send and receive at least one card, and best of all, you have until July 31st, 2020 to send it! It’s quick, easy, and best of all, free!

Maybe you’ll get a link to a new favourite or an old one you fall in love with all over again! Either way, sharing is caring and the more the merrier so don’t keep the excellence to yourself; feel free to post your card and links on tumblr so these works reach an even wider audience!

Sign-ups are open now and you can send your card(s) anytime between July 1st and July 31st, 2020. Cards need to be sent by email (within the body or a link to something online) and personalized to your recipient.
