Two Worlds (Closed RP w/ incessantapologies)
Winter was never really Sun's forte'. The monkey faunus had spent the better part of the last three weeks looking for warm places to stay and shops friendly enough to let him come in and grab a bite. Which was harder than naught most of the time given his faunus nature. But just like always, Sun had made due. That's what he'd done all his life. Make ends meet. Do what he could with what he had. It was nothing new to the stowaway, but the cold definitely wasn't helping.
Sun had rolled down his pant legs and managed to 'acquire' a red scarf from some jerk vendor downtown and was using it to block the cold. It honestly wasn't even that cold but Sun never could handle it anyways. Thank Gaia, it wasn't windy. As he walked to planks of the Boardwalk, Sun looked out over the icy waters of the sea. It's imposing vastness calling out to the golden haired faunus. Despite the weather, He loved coming to the docks. The ocean always called out to him. The endless possibilities and opportunities that lay out there.
As his eyes traced the horizon, they came to rest at the end of the pier. Standing there like some stoic sentinel overlooking the horizon stood a girl... No... a woman. She was fair skinned and tall. She was wrapped with a large crimson and gold shawl that hid most of her form from the simians sight. She leaned against the railing like she was reaching out for something, but not with her arms... but her eyes. Sun watched with awestruck wonder at the wispy flash of crimson that enveloped her head like a flaming aura. Alive and writhing, it billowed in the cool wind. He'd never seen hair like that before. Like darkened flame it swirled in the slight ocean breeze. It lifted ever so slightly to reveal an ornate golden bronze headpiece adorned with emeralds. The young monkey found himself more than awestruck at the lovely sight.
He made his way down the pier to... to greet her? Even he didn't know. He just felt drawn to her by some force he didn't understand. As he walked up and rested on the railing beside her, he kept his gaze on the sea. Flashes of red and gold emerged from the corner of his eye, as if calling to him. Without turning to face her, he smiled.
"Admiring the view?"
