It takes him a full 36 hours before he tells someone and it’s only because the pain has only gotten worse. He doesn’t trust any of them, doesn’t like the idea of needing their help, but he knows he can’t fix it by himself. “I think I broke my wrist.”

He feels like death, but he’s still not taking any pain meds. Maybe they’re safe, but it’s hard to trust that. Nothing is ever really all that safe and he’s sure as hell not going to be out of it if everything goes wrong again. But he wants a distraction because Jesus Christ getting out of there was a miracle and everything hurts. He thinks, maybe, that he shouldn’t bring it up, shouldn’t piss any of them off.

But then he thinks, fuck it! and glances at her in his peripheral vision, watching for a response.
