"whys ur art so bad" *probably cant even draw a stick person*
I think the last time I got a message like that was when someone found a 3 month old ask i sent to an antifeminist and they made no mention of it but I checked and could see where they came from and I could see they just looked at like the first page of my art tag before sending it
what happened to them
basically they got called out for being sexually abusive (supposedly by the victim?) and they deactivated their account. From what I heard they admitted to it but idk because they deleted so quickly.
I read through the callout post though and personally I see a lot of flaws with it and it really seems like it was exaggerated. A lot of people are also saying it’s wrong because they’re a minor and are mentally ill, but that’s not why it’s wrong imo. I do think mental illness could have played a part but not really in the way people are saying. I don’t think the age thing really has much to do with this either. I think it’s possible they did a few bad things but even those im on the fence about
Really, I just think the person dealt with it really wrong and call me a shitty person but I’ve been in a slightly similar situation and I sympathize with them.
(not saying their name even but im still calling atleast 3 more ‘bad post op’ comments rn)
why's ur art so bad
I want to know how many times I’ve disagreed with someone on this site and atleast one person finds it, goes to my blog, looks at my art tag for 10 seconds and sends this exact message on anon
CHUBBIEST
def hoodiedeer at top thiccest, then maybe fucker being closer to my actual bodytype/weight
other than them tho, Blaze and Angel. blaze is a bit chubby but most of all has thicc thighs/butt lmao and Angel is a little soft/pudgy/curvy kinda
Im realizing now I don’t have many other ocs, except some unmentioned one I’ve been thinking about and slutdeer who I guess im allowed to use but idk (they would actually be tied with hoodiedeer probably but theyre a shapeshifter so more or less)
Tbh i hate when people judge games like even really "crappy" ones because someone put so much time and effort into making them and maybe theyre still learning how to do things and just bc the game isnt appealing to you doesnt mean its a bad game?? Especially when the people crying about it dont even try playing it first
i have mixed feelings about it. i think there are a lot of cases its perfectly justified, because really, if you’re just learning how to make games you should NOT be putting them on steam, or atleast not be selling them. it’s like an artist only just figuring out how to draw trying to do commissions- while its understandable that like you shouldnt say “x’s art isnt good enough to be paid for” i think its kind of obvious you should actually figure out how to draw a bit before selling your art. like id say about a little under a year ago is the point i was good enough i could do some commissions for normal art, and maybe earlier if i wanted to do pixel art commissions. but as much as I’d like to, as a game developer I am certainly not as ready to sell my games. I know game developers that are CERTAINLY ready to sell a game on steam and are told to by their fans but even feel they aren’t ready.
There are some games that certainly could be made fun of. For a couple months, I’ve had a video I made sitting in my folders unfinished about a game I found on steam called Head Shot and bought on sale. THAT game deserves to be made fun of. I couldn’t even fit into the video how hilariously bad everything about it was. It’s a generic FPS that seems to be going for a TF2 feel but only has deathmatch and some shitty maps. Everything in it is broken and buggy and the features shown on the atrocious store page aren’t even in the game. Besides being a buggy generic cliche FPS game with nothing original about it other than how broken and incomplete everything is, it uses fucking models and probably maps just taken straight from some website where you get free game content.
Head Shot is a game that perhaps wouldn’t be worth making fun of, and I almost feel bad for working on a video mocking it. I wouldn’t have a problem with someone making a game like that, I certainly would too. The problem? They are selling that game on Steam for actual money (it was $10 i thought but it looks like its down to $2 now) and judging by how shitty and generic it is and reading through the (poorly written english) news posts I am pretty sure it’s just a scam to try and sell a shitty game and get some money. I’m even more suspicious of this since after a few months of no updates, they just announced their new Greenlight game “Shot Shot Tactic” (im not fucking joking thats actually the name) and it doesnt sound any better. It looks more polished but I wouldn’t put it past them to have all of these cool new models be totally stolen
anyways i gtg a stream just started but basically what im saying is you cant make a shitty game and just sell it like that, THATS what deserves to be judged. but also OP couldve chosen a way diff game to talk about
Oh my lord my innocent eyes yOU HAVE SOILED THEM
