Canal Tour and Paper
Short post, but figured Id keep up the entry momentum. Yesterday, we went on a canal tour provided by our housing. It was interesting to see all the landmarks around the city from the water and I was glad to take it since it was provided fo free. Our tour guide was very... vocal? I guess would be the best way to put it. Maybe bold? He just kinda spewed things in between sharing history facts. Sometimes they were funny, other times they weren't. BUT- he made a Game of Thrones reference sooo obligatory friend. Afterward, our RA figures got us all ice cream comes and they were delicious. It was a vanilla cone covered in what I would consider cocoa powder. My classmates and I sat at the harbor and soaked up the sun before returning for the evening. Today I finally had a second lecture and we watched a film called Including Samuel, discussing inclusion in schooling for children with disabilities. Afterward, we had Hans Månsson come talk about social sustainability; he was soft spoken but compelling to listen to. I went back to my res after class and did the dishes for my poor sick roommate. We've been struggling to get her to a doctor; god bless orange juice. Since then, I've been working on a paper and eating Hawaiian pizza. Good day
