#incorrect autocorrect

Hey, autocorrect? We need to have a chat.

While I do actually talk about fir trees at least once a year, you really need to stop autocorrecting "for" into "fir". You've never once been right to do that.

In fact, I've told you to forget the word fir multiple times over the years, to try to stop this from happening. And yet you persist.

Every so often you re-learn the word after an update or something and get so excited to insert it into what I'm writing, which I do understand. Trees are neat. Especially conifers. But you gotta stop.

Ya know... I used the word abs in a text message like once ever and now autocorrect keeps trying to correct actually correctly spelled words to that. “You typed ‘rainy and windy’ but I know you meant ‘rainy abs windy.’” “You typed ‘in about an hour’ but you really must have meant ‘in abs an hour.’” “Ha ha ha. There’s no possible way you meant to type ‘Are you going out for lunch?’ Surely you mean ‘Abs you going out for lunch?”

so far my favorite autocorrect on a fanfic: the suggestion to change "spent within" to "spent time within." He just wants to spend time within together! That’s all!
