Final goodbye
So, it's reached that time in the semester when it's time for me to say goodbye to the University of Idaho, (for now!).
I've had the most wonderful year at this school and really advocate it as a top choice for prospective students. It has everything from the teaching styles and teaching knowledge, access to resources, opportunities for volunteer involvement and extra-curricular activities - AND more.
There are numerous options for accommodation and food catering on campus, or immediately around it in the community, (Patty's Mexican Kitchen is a MUST!).
And finally, the people. The people here are so much more than welcoming, they're happy that you are here and they're excited for what you can offer to the school, and develop in skills yourself. I've met the most incredible number of people, who I call my friends, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
So, it's adios from me. I've loved being a part of the Housing Internship. If you want to get involved, look out for the application towards the end of each semester on the University job site. It's a fantastic opportunity to work in a different environment to normal Uni. study, while having access to great resources and a fabulous support network.
I hope that my blog has helped some of you in a small way, or a big way, somehow! It's been great Idaho.
Good luck to all who read this!

2013
What a crazy and unexpected year. For me, the yeard did not start on the 1st of January, it all started on the 4th February. My life changed completely, I was alone after such a long time. Alone, tired and weak. But soon I started to see the light in the things again. I realized I forgot a lot of myself, I recovered my essence, it was me again, my thoughts, my hobbies and all the things I thought to be missed forever.
World started to look very differently. New friends, new plans, new adventures and -I have to confess- new (pseudo) love. I got loved and rejected. I discovered new ways to do the things, I enjoyed my friends and my singleness as I have never done before.
But I also learnt how to face problems alone. I think this is the most important and valuable lesson 2013 has given to me. I faced fears, troubles, loneliness feeling, rejections and big, big changes. I realized how strong I am, I realized I don't need anybody to cope with my troubles I didn't feel dependant of anybody anymore.
And then it happened. I moved out of my parents place for the first time in my life, I moved out of my country for the first time in my life as well. It was an "all in" adventure that turned up to be the most incredible time in my life.
I do feel so grateful for this year and all the things I had from it. I had wonderful experiences, I visited Ljiubliana, Maribor, Bohinsko Jezero, Barcelona, Bradford, York, Leeds, Edinburgh, London and Dublin. I met friends who will remain in my heart forever, I discover feelings I had never felt before and, the most important thing, I have grown as a person, all the people and experiences have make me grow.
For all of this: Thanks, thank you all for being in my life, thanks for giving me the chance of this to happen.
