The old life I had is gone

Even though we are now officially out of lockdown, I am still staying home. When I go out for a walk, I shall continue to wear a mask. The old life I had is gone. Whilst people are now going about their lives, I hope they will give a thought for those who are still high risk and vulnerable to Covid-19.

The truth is that whilst we think we’re okay, scientists say we can still have Covid-19, even though we may have no symptoms. As of the 3rd January 2021, with 127,620 deaths in the UK having been reported to the WHO, Covid-19 is still continuing to spread (Source: https://covid19.who.int)

The UK is now classed as an endemic. The fear of me coming down with the virus isn’t something I struggle to deal with, it’s something that will still affect us all. It is important we continue to be mindful of how we go about our lives.

Yesterday is gone.

How many yester-days have I had in my life?

365 days, 40 years = 14,600

Maybe it is understandable that I feel a little run down lately lol

I better take full advantage of this second wave of energy after a week of migraines and depression

I don’t know when the next down will hit

So I need to work hard, earn that money and be prepared.  

I feel great today
