cause someone reblogged it today and tbh until then i had forgotten about it so i guess i should go ahead and write that Part 2

IncrediBuddy Headcanon Part 1

I'm finally writing this whole thing out to explain how this ship might work. This is for @unicornfangirling and anyone else who doesn't understand this ship and/or thinks it is preposterous. Also for anyone who has never seen or even considered this ship before. I haven't really seen anything else on it, so idk.

So my idea is, the IncrediBuddy ship would have taken place pre-movie/ at the very beginning of the movie. Mr. Incredible was dating Buddy (they're closer to the same age in the world that I'm imagining), and they had a food relationship.

But Buddy would get worried about Mr. Incredible while he was out "superheroing", and wanted to go out with him, which led him to develop his own tech, and try to help Mr. Incredible.

Mr. Incredible thought that this was very dangerous, and wanted to keep Buddy as far away from the fight as he could, which resulted in a heated argument between the two if them.

During this argument, Mr. Incredible went to cool off by stopping some crime, and just doing everyday hero things. He happens to run into Elastigirl, and the two start up a bit of a playful banter.

Unfortunately, Mr. Incredible doesn't realize that Buddy had been following him, and had been planning on apologizing and working out some sort of compromise. This all goes out the window when he sees what appears to be his boyfriend flirting with another girl. And not just any girl either, a super.
