kokichi never told shuichi what it was about or what happened, but from the way kokichi interacted with bugs after it, shuichi kind of figured it out on his own.

So Kokichi’s design in the I’m Not Dead AU kinda changed since the first iteration, thought I’d... give him an updated reference. Honestly, this looks way fucking better. 

Included some images I have already drawn of him, such as the blog’s header / banner, the original reference, and uhh... the crying thing. But that’s not that important, is it?

SO! Here’s a kinda... hypothetical on if Kurochi was in this AU.

I was debating on whether or not if i should make Rochi an angel, but considering the whole... lore and personalized rules in this AU, that would mean separating him from Kokichi, and that would mean they would never ever see each other again. I didn’t want to do that.

In the AU, Kokichi ends up signing up for this “haunting process” thing. He’s lucky to have discovered it so quickly, honestly. Basically - some unlucky, anonymous sap on Earth ends up with a demon being bound to their soul! The demon is stuck on Earth (which... isn’t a downside, all things considered), and the poor sap lands up being haunted for the rest of their days, or if an angel finds out about that and is like “Hey... enough of that.”

Buuuuut they neglect to tell you about that, honestly. It’s... like a pair of hand cuffs with an impossibly long chain that only really kicks in when one of them is an entire football field away from the other. It’s designed to screw both parties over.

And in the AU, Kokichi lands up discovering who he’s haunting is actually none other than Shuichi fucking Saihara because I can’t say his full name without cursing! That’s not much fun! It takes Kokichi five hours to compose himself. And, a month later, when Shuichi finds out he’s being haunted... he can’t wrap his brain around it.

Now prepare for trouble, and make it double! Now there’s two demons bound to Shuichi’s soul because why not! Honestly... I don’t know how this version’ll go. Though, like in the main version of I’m Not Dead, they wouldn’t stay in Hell for very long, thankfully.

this thought’s been plaguing me for a few days. and, honestly, i realllllyyyy wanted needed an excuse to draw rochi, ahhhh! kinda scheduled this later on in the day because i’m... i didn’t want to really post this myself, because god forbid that i never would!
