I'm Not Dead

That's the name of the AU, I'm sorry. This was originally just "I've Stooped to a New Low If I'm Making a Danganronpa Blog" but now it's for this damn AU where Kokichi's a demon and he's supposed to haunt Shuichi apparently.

Kokichi steals an empty notebook Shuichi has laying around the house and at first puts in a little doodle of himself in the top left corner. If Shuichi found it, he would have found that doodle, right on the first page, just like "LOOK WHAT I FOUND."

Kokichi doesn't put anything else in there after the first. Mainly because he has nothing else to put in it. Not to say that first doodle’s a little bit of a reassurance for himself.

However, he does eventually draw over the first doodle’s face, proceeding to turn it into a sketchbook for venting things into. Which means Shuichi can’t ever find this book again because, well... those are Kokichi’s Feelings™️ in there. It’d be game over if anyone were to ever find this.

Here's a fun fact - for a while now, I've wanted to make an AU where one of Kokichi's beta designs is a separate character, and so far I've grown very attached to him. I really like giving things nicknames, and while I'd like to give him a real name, he'll be known as Skullkid for now.

First off, I'd like to mention that this is a post game AU where DV3 took place in virtual reality. Because that seems to be, like... a popular thing here? I dunno, I just wanted to work with that concept. I’m also gonna be calling it “Killing Harmony” because it just... I just kinda want to. :0000

The basic idea I have for this guy is that he loves skeletons and pranks. He doesn't love Danganronpa, though he thought the last season was... interesting. 'Course, I like the idea that Skullkid's favorite student of Killing Harmony would be Kokichi, and the reason for it was... well? He seems like an intriguing person.

Another idea I have is that he somehow ends up joining DICE because I think it'd be interesting. Though DICE at this current point is... y'know, trying to lay low for now, until the whole excitement over Killing Harmony finally dies down, since Kokichi would VERY MUCH like to forget that ever happened.

Okay I just realized I didn't think into how he ends up joining because my brain is smooth, I'm sorry.

Skullkid earns his nickname of "Skullkid" a while after joining, when he's just "oooh what if we all had nicknames?" The only nickname that really stuck was Skullkid's, as it's... honestly the only nickname DICE actually uses between them, including Skullkid himself. Although, Skullkid does also happen to call Kokichi "Jester" from time to time, mainly because I thought it’d be kind of funny I guess???

i’m just gonna throw it out here, but i’m tryna do a thing with my au but i need questions for it because oh gee am i bad at coming up with questions for my own au.

This AU’s a work in progress. It’s still in development, and I haven’t really settled on any story ideas for it, if there indeed will be one. Some details are being fiddled with and tweaked, so some things are outdated right now. 

Thank you for paying attention to my wacky little Danganronpa blog though! I know the consistency around here is a lil janked, but I’m still working on it.

Oh, and uhh... if you’re seeing this, feel free to ask questions about the AU! Even if some details are switched around, I wouldn’t mind answering any questions you have! :D

I also found like... a good reference of this guy do you know how hard it was to find out I’m genuinely excited to get this out here to the point i wasn’t even nervous to tag L and rye for the first time :D
