Four years ago today, we opened our doors at Ocean Optometry for the very first time! An idea born out of the belief that an independent optometry office focused certain essential elements would be a success. We believed that: - people wanted to be treated as individuals, in a relaxed and chilled atmosphere; - people cared about their eyes, they wanted them to be well cared for and to be informed about them; - knowledgeable and caring staff really, really matter, choose the best people to work with; - finding incredible eyewear is important, people see it immediately when they look at you and good quality, well designed eyewear makes a difference. To make Ocean work, we had to find the finest eyewear in the world and bring it to #Halifax; - astoundingly clear optics enhances the benefits of any prescription, we needed to work with the best lens designs available in the industry; - give people honest and clear information, valid opinions and let making an an informed choice be the best way to look after people; - and perhaps most importantly, enjoy yourself and have a laugh while you're doing it!
