India’s relatively newly built embassy in Berlin’s Tiergarten district is cuboid in shape with a cylindrical atrium cutting into it (although difficult to make out from these angles) and a striking facade of red Indian sandstone. Unlike many other countries, India did not commission an Indian architect, but a German firm called Leon Wohlhage Wernik. The Berlin-based architects designed this keeping in mind Indian building traditions and craftsmanship into a modern architecture. Much more impressive than what it looks in these shabby pictures. #germany #indianembassy #indiaingermany #travel #traveler #europe #instatravel #travelgram #travelphotography #traveltheworld #travelling #germany🇩🇪 #berlin #traveler #travelholic #berlin🇩🇪 #berlinberlin #visitgermany #visitberlin #berlingermany #diplomacy (at India in Germany (Embassy of India, Berlin)) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-Zs9snADgz/?igshid=1gaas0nqaw4pi
